2 year check up

Yesterday Emilee had her two year check up. Well actually 2 year and one month. we have a doctors set at home and she loves giving everyone a check up when they visit. She also lives pretending to get one. This visit was no different. She happily let the doctor poke and prod her and even gave the doctor an examination. She was a real trooper when she received her shots and got her blood work done. Not a peep out of her.
Here are her latest stats:
Height- 39 inches ( She is the height of a 3 1/3 4 year old)
( I think she is related to Yao Ming) The doctor ran her past 2 year measurements though a computer and they estimate she will be anywhere from 5 feet 9 inches - 5 feet11 inches.
Weight:29.8

Shoe size: 8 1/2 ( big feet like her mom)

The amazing thing is that she was not that big when I got her. She was average. Boy what a little love and good nutrition can do.

When we were in France, Kathy, Patrick and Meredith gave Emilee this wonderful French Magnet book. Its a book that pops open like a house and has a bunch of books with stories all of which are magnetic. In a side pocket there is a bunch of magnets, kind of like paper doll cut outs, that connect to everything. Emilee just adores it. Every time she plays with it, she babbles some sort of story . Its so precious.

Nana and Uncle Richard came over for dinner on friday, so Emilee thought it would be a great idea to bake them a cake. As you can see Emilee had to keep tasting it to make sure it tasted good.

Pool Time

At the beginning of the summer I bought Emilee this great blow-up pool. Its 12x9. A perfect size for a toddler to swim by them self. I only fill it up half way so its not too deep. Filled up half way, when she sits it reached her upper chest. Emilee loves the water. It has to say something about where she originally comes from. If i would let her, she would stay in the pool all day. The cutest is when she tries to swim in it, kicking her feet and using her rams to do laps back and forth.
