Drinking some tea on a rainy day

Notre Dame

After our lovely trip to the Loire Valley we headed back to Paris. This time we stayed on the right bank. Patrick and Kathy had a great idea that I recommend to anyone going to Paris, to split our times between the Left and Right bank. It really made for a great adventure.
On Monday, our luck with the weather ran out. When we left the hotel it was just drizzling so we decided to go to Notre Dame. After a beautiful visit, Kathy Patrick, the girls and myself decided to adventure out, while Rosalyn went back to the hotel to read. We made it 5 blocks when the heavens opened up and it poured. We ducked into a cafe to dry up and after a very welcome cup of hot Tea we hopped in a cab dropping Patrick off at the Louve, while Kathy, the girls and I went shopping at the Galeries Lafayette.
On Tuesday the weather improved and we all had a wonderful time at the Luxembourg Gardens and play area. It's an amazing Chateau and park, with a carousel, huge play area, pony rides, pond and gardens.
Tuesday afternoon we sadly said goodbye to Patrick, Kathy and Meredith. They went back to England. Although we were sad to see them leave be were very fortunate to have spend as much time as we did with them. They truly are an amazing family.
Wednesday after a leisurely morning we said goodbye to Paris to return home.

THANK YOU SO MUCH FOR EVERYTHING

Emilee wanted this little rabbit when we were visiting the gift shop at the Chateau de Cheverny. Since then it has become a favorite of hers. You will often spot it in next set of pictures of Paris.
