SLEEPING BEAUTY

EATING CORN AT JOES FISH HOUSE
I love the look on Emilees face and the way her beautiful big eyes sparkle in this photo

I consider myself a very organized person. Especially in photography. im one of those people that send you pictures of an event ( completely edited) the day after it happened. I try to post my pictures relatively current to when it happened. No more than two days since I took them. Sometimes I get back logged. But that's usually after vacation. I have to admit right now I am so back logged and I really don't like the feeling. Is there a therapy group for this????????? March as been a month of happenings. Play dates, Parties, two holidays---Easter and Passover we celebrate both and all the events that come with it. Egg hunts, Egg Decorating, Easter events held at diff rent venues, and two night of dinner with family and friends. not to mention Emilee is off from school for 10 days and im busy entertaining her. For some reason she doesn't find me editing pictures interesting. As of this moment she is still sleeping so I am busing editing away. I an happy to say I have really made progress. I am planning on uploading a chunk of them tomorrow.
I am still having problems with my blog. im only allowed to show 4 posts at a time so keep clicking "older posts' to see all of my pictures and stories. Its a pain in the neck but I cant do anything about it.
I am looking forward to seeing everyone's pictures and hear their stories of all their spring happenings. My favorite time of the year
Happy Easter and Happy Passover to everyone.....

HAPPY 4TH FAMILY DAY

My sweet Xiu Xiu;

I knew I loved you before I even knew who you were. I waited patiently though bumps in the roads, country closures, and lotteries knowing that my destined child was out there somewhere . From the moment I saw your sweet picture I felt the stars and the planets align and I knew that you were mine deep in my heart. The journey to finally meet you was a labor of love.

On March 29, 2006, Standing in a room of the Civil Affairs government building in Guangzhou, I saw you for the first time. Since that moment, I have been forever changed. I find it hard to put into words all of the feelings I had at that moment. I knew that I was part of something very deep and very special. I was part of a much larger plan. A plan that God put in place long before he placed you in my heart, and then in my heart you grew. My love for you grew so big that I could hardly contain it. The moment I first held you in my arms was one of the sweetest in my life and the days that followed were magical. I was in awe of you and in awe that I would be the lucky one to share your days. Those days have proven to be the most wonderful of days.

You fill our family with joy, love, and laughter each day. I feel as if you have been with us forever and cannot imagine our lives without you. We sure would be missing out on the special miracle that is you. You have blessed our lives in more ways that I can count and I literally look forward to each new day and what it will bring. I love to watch you learn and explore the world. I love your laugh, it is intoxicating. I love to watch you dance. I love to hear you say "I did that" and "look at me" I love to hear you sing. I love to watch you play with your dolls. I love to see how proud you are when you learn something new. I melt when you tell me “I love you Mom”. I love you with all of my heart and am so proud to be your Mom. I am looking forward to watching you blossom more with each passing year and I will be here to support you all of my days.

Thank you dear daughter, for blessing my life with your presence. I want to be as much of a blessing to you as you are to me. Please always remember how special you are and how very much I adore you.

Love, Mom
