Wednesday evening we went to the Red Carpet premier of the movie THE PRINCESS AND THE FROG. Emilee and i both give it a big thumbs up. It really was a great movie filled with terrific morals, lovely music and great animation. Tiana is now Emilee's favorite princess. The Premier was truly done up in Disney style. Disney doesn't skimp on a thing. Emilee felt like a true princess from beginning to end. But the best part of the evening was the Royal Ball afterwards. Upon entering the ballroom you felt like you were walking down the streets of New Orleans. there were props and confetti everywhere. and the most magical of all were all the beautiful and elegant princesses everywhere you turned. Emilee could not contain her excitement as she chatted with the princesses, danced with them, sang with them and posed for many many pictures with them. She felt like royalty herself. I'm not sure whose face hurt more from smiling Emilee's or mine watching the excitement and delight of her plastered smile and her incredible beam. After meeting and chatting with the princesses, there was a wonderful bayou Adventure Park filled with bouncy lillypads, tire swings, tree houses to clime, jump, swing and slide from. tunnels to explore and logs to balance on. After about an hour of playing in this wonderful Mock-Bayou we went to the Arts and crafts room where Disney animators showed you how to create your own cells. If that wasn't enough Kodak had a booth set up that allowed you to be in the movie. It was so cute seeing Emilee in the Princess and the frog movie standing next to Tiana. After over 4 hours in the ballroom it was getting late and we had to go. I can not tell you how difficult it was tearing Emilee away from all the excitement. She sweetly said goodbye personally to all the princesses and slowly exited the ballroom talking a mile a minute of all the wonders and delights she had just experience. It truly was a Royal Night.
