On Wednesday, Veterans Day, Emilee had a Birthday party for her friend Victoria. Before we went to the party we went to Friendlys for Lunch. Upon walking into the Restaurant Emilee looked up at the flags blowing in the wind and had this conversation with me

Emilee: Mommy, Every Nation has its own flag.... Me: ( not looking up to see what she was looking at but trying to answer her question) Yes, Every country or nation has a flag that is distinctly theirs. Its usually a flag that represents their history or origin and it invokes great pride in its people Emilee: We need a passport to visit other countries don't we Me: Yes, when ever we leave the United states we need our passport Emilee: Well, Friendlys has its own flag is it a nation? Do we have our passports to go in?
