Emilee had her appointment with the Audiologist today. She did really well. She sat perfectly still as he plugged her ears with all sorts of equipment and wires and followed direction like a pro in the booth. The Doctor was even impressed with how obedient and patient and cooperative she was for a three year old. Emilee thought the whole process was very amusing and interesting. The result was good news. Besides for a large build up of wax, which is now removed, her ears seemed to be OK. Thats a big relief. He did tell me that she has had numerous ear infections in the past. The SWI report only told me of one. Another piece of the puzzle to her mysterious past. ( The first was when I went to the Dentist and i asked about the small spot on her tooth. I was told that her Birth mother must have had a high fever when she was pregnant) I know it really dosent mean much and it is really insignificant, but I really wish I knew more about her life before me.
