Project Bunny

Emilee loves projects and Arts and Crafts. She is always asking me " Mom, what the next holiday?", " What project do we make for that?". This months project is Easter and Passover. As I was walking down the lanes of the Craft Store I was so excited to see all the wonderful crafts we can make. You would think I was the kid.

File this under, "Things I never thought I'd say."

I've said, "Don't run with scissors" -- more than once. I've told the Emilee to "eat her vegetables" and I've said, "Don't sit so close to the t.v." But tonight at the dinner table, even as the words tumbled out of my mouth, I couldn't believe what I was saying. So, what little pearl of wisdom did I share? "Emilee, stop eating lke a dog."Yep. I'm now instructing my child, to not eat like Fido. And she WAS eating a like a dog. Face completely in the bowl, lapping up her food like, well, a dog. And after I asked her not to eat like a dog, she simply said, "But I like eating like a dog."

My neighbor is moving and like most people in transition her life is filled with three choices. Take, Storage and Throw Away. Emilee is lucky enough to have one more category created just for her. Its called " Give to Emilee". my neighbor has a 9 year old daughter that has out grown many of her toys. So for the past few weeks we get wonderful deliveries of toys and stuff. One of the items that was recently delivered was this Doll House, complete with working lights, working fans and great furniture and accessories. Thanks Lauren for everything.

Important things to know.

Emilee was having lunch with her Friend Grace having a conversation about well, everything. This is part of the conversation Graces mom and I had to laugh. Emilee: "Mommy, A bird horse is called a Pegasus." Grace: "Its Mommy is a Bird and Its Daddy is a Horse." Emilee:"A Pegasus says, "neigh. tweet. neigh. tweet." Me: "That's good to know."
