A FEW PICTURES FROM BEFORE THE SHOW

Last week Emilee had her end of year School Shows. Her school really did a great job. They started with an art show. Her Art teacher came out to greet the parents in the entrance way and explained the different medias and assignments they kids learned about and completed over the course of the school year. Then she lead us to the main art room. Along the hallways the walls were wall papered with beautiful painting and drawings the children had made. The art room was an explosion of colors and creations. Every bit of wall space was covered with beautiful painting. There were numerous tables set up with three dimensional sculptures and crafts. After our spectacular art showing we were led downstairs to the dance room. The walls of the dance room was also covered with the beautiful and creative paintings the children have made. Then the children entered. They lined up in their assigned places and danced their hearts out with bright eyes and big smiles. My favorite routine was when they sported bats and tap danced while singing "Take me out to the ball game". Afterwards the children left, to set up in their classroom for their singing performance. We were led up the back stairs to their classroom. We entered and sat down as the children serenaded us with beautiful songs and poems they had been rehearsing all year. They truly gave us a Tony winning performance. Bravo to all of them...

1940'S PIN UP GIRL

Emilee needs a swim cap for swimming class. Upon looking at the shiny slick chrome dome plastic skin caps I was not thrilled. I wanted something more unique and fashionable. Thats when I came across this vintage bathing cap. I think its adorable. Emilee thinks its hilarious. I will certainly be able to spot her in the pool.
