FUN IN THE PARK WITH EMILEE AND CAILYN

SPECIAL FRIENDS COME FOR A VISIT

This past week we had a visit from some very special friends.  Its been a while since we have seen them but being together felt like we saw them yesterday.  They are originally from NY but moved to California a while back. Last time they were in NY Emilee was a year and a half and Gregory and her formed a great bond.  i have the most wonderful pictures of the two of them cuddling, playing and smiling.  Although he remembered Emilee, Emilee didn't remember him at first.  But 10 minutes after they saw each other the band formed again.  And Emilee was quite smitten with Greg.  She followed him around like a puppy dog with a big smile and a glow in her face.  Greg in turn was so gentle and patient with Emilee, coloring with her, teaching her magic trick and how to play cards.  Emilee  ( and I) were sad to seem them leave.  But it wont be for long.  Were fling down to California in a few weeks to visit.

HANG IN THERE.......

Emilee takes private swim lesson twice a week.  She loves the water and is starting to become a very good swimmer.  She absolutely adores her swim instructor Erica.  On swim lesson days she can wait to get to the pool so she can be with her.  She follows her around like a puppy dog and works so hard to please her.  Erica feels the same about Emilee.  she always has a surprise waiting for her at the end of the lesson and is not teaching her how to play ping pong.  The hard part of the day is trying to get Emilee to go home.  She would hang around with Erica all day if i let her.  Last week Erica told her that if she keeps working as hard as she does she can join the swim team next year.  I guess i can now add Swim mom to my resume.

GUESS WHO JUST LOST HER SECOND TOOTH?

Last night on our way home from Lancaster Emilee lost her second Tooth.  She has two others loose so at some point she is going to be toothless.  Before she went to sleep she placed her tooth in her tooth box and the Tooth fairy brought her a new Leapster.  ( her last one broke  -- or got fried-- it was left in the car on one of those 100+ days)  Wasn't that nice of the tooth fairy to replace it.
