KINDERGARDEN ROCKS

Emilee started her first day of school yesterday and she loves it. She was chosen for a great school, she has a great teacher and i love the curriculum. The only downfall is in the morning it takes me 45 minutes to get her to school. 12 minutes to pick her up. You have to love New york Traffic. But its worth it. Emilee favorite thing about the school is the drop off. She calls it a hotel. They have a drop off where you never get out of your car. You drive up to the front of the school and someone opens the door for the child and you drive off.

This is Emilee's new backpack. I saw cousin Ninon of France wear it to school last year and i fell in love with it. Marianne was kind enough to order one for us this year and send it off to us so that Emilee could start school with it. We can not thank them enough. Emilee loves it and is so proud that her cousin Ninon has the same one. You truly made out first day at school even more special.

Emilee is dying to take the bus but for the first year i would rather pick her up. I want to cherish every moment of her youth as i can and watching her run out of school and being the first to hear all about her day is a great treat to me. She will just have to wait a little longer to grow up and take the bus. Sorry...
