ADVENTURE AQUARIUM

Three weeks ago Emilee and i met up with Friends Joanne and Danielle for a Play date at the Adventure Aquarium. Hands down, it was the most amazing Aquarium I have ever been to. It is a true hands on Aquarium. There are five touch attractions that allow you to touch gooey Jellyfish, slimy Stingrays, Star Fish, Turtles and even sharks. The aquarium is know for its incredible shark exhibits and they don't disappoint. Emilee's favorite was the Shark Tunnel that allows you a 360 degree view of these amazing creatures. There newest exhibit is the rare shark rays. The most mysterious and rare creatures of the aquatic worlds. They are considered The Pandas of the Sea world because they are so rarely found in exhibits. They truly were amazing to look at. They look almost prehistoric. Emilee called them the Sea Spaceship . They also have a virtual shark cage where you go into a cage and you literally feel as if you are suspended in and underwater shark cage. The 3D images are larger than life and the floor actually moves as sharks surround you and hit the cage. A t first the girls were a bit scared, but then we showed them it wasn't real, they thought it was so funny. There is a West African River Experience that features hippos. There is even a 4D movie experience which employs 3D imagery with integrated Special effects built into the theater. Water sprays at you , wind blows and creepy creatures crawl up and down your skin. The best part of the show was watching Emilee would kept trying to grab the images in front of her and almost fell out of her seat.
