Once Upon a Time in a land far far away, Two beautiful Princesses named Jin Xiu and Fu Xiu were born. They were born in an ancient Kingdom that is fortified by a great wall, has a forbidden palace and is guarded by mighty dragons. Princess Jin Xiu and princess Fu Xiu where very special, because before they were born their parents prayed and wished upon the stars for these very special children. A fairy heard these wishes blowing in the wind and cast a magical wish that created their destiny's. She wove a magical and invisible red string around each girl and connected them to there forever family. The fairy then whispered in the princesses ears to be patient, that a journey that is wished and worked for is the most special and magical of them all. One day their very happy families came to China to take them home. One Princess went to Kentucky and she was crowned Princess Lilli, the other Princess went to New York and was crowned Princess Emilee. Their new life's were charmed and happy. They were loved and adored by their families and friends. But there was still more magic the fairy had bestowed on them. The fairy had attached another string that would connect these two princesses. They would meet in the most unusual way, via the Internet. A great friendship would form between the princesses and their mommies. Then one holiday season they would exchange Gingerbread princesses. Gingerbread Lilli would travel to New York to spend some time with princess Emilee. In turn, Gingerbread Emilee would travel to Kentucky to spend time with Princess Lilli. Like their Counterpart princesses, these Gingerbread princesses would travel a distance to live out their destiny. And so this story take another turn. A journey that is unwritten. For the next few months, please enjoy the adventures of two very special Ginger princesses as they accompany two amazing little Princesses enjoying life.

Ginger Emilee arrived to great gasping and clapping! Lilli LOVED her and wanted to show her around immediately! You should have seen the smile on her face when she saw Emilee peeking back at her! It was priceless! Ginger Emilee arrived just in time for our weekend!
This is absolutely beautiful! I could never write anything nearly as wonderful so, if you don't mind, I will use it for our introductory page as well.
Hugs,
June & Lilli
Happy Christmas!
Just caught up on the blog, and I love all the new pictures! The gingerbread people are all soooo cute! That really was a great project! I'll bet the classroom looked great. I'm hard pressed to imagine any better gingerbread people than Emilee had -- Ninon's bunny was fantastic and so creative and the Gingerbread Lilli was too precious! We are having a quiet holiday at home and looking forward to it. We hope you all have a wonderful holiday season.
Love,
Kathy, Patrick and Meredith
